BAGDOGRA/NJP STATION - GANGTOK - DARJEELING - BAGDOGRA/NJP STATION
5 NIGHTS / 6 DAYS
DAY 1 : ARRIVE IN BAGDOGRA AIRPORT / NJP RAILWAY STATION - GANGTOK (130 km / 4 hrs)
Arrive at Bagdogra airport / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station. Meet on your arrival and drive to Gangtok (Alt 5550Ft / 1675M). Gangtok is the capital of the state of Sikkim is a beautiful and clean town promising of the best monasteries and landscapes. On arrival, check in at the hotel. Evening free for individual activity and leisure. Overnight at Gangtok.
DAY 2 : GANGTOK SIGHTSEEING (10 AM - 4:30 PM)
.After breakfast, visit Enchey Monastery, Tashi View Point, Ganesh Tok and Bakthang Falls, Government Institute of Cottage Industry (Closed on Sunday, 2nd Saturday), Orchid House Flower Show. After lunch visit Sikkim Research Institute of Tibetology, Dodurl Chorten, Ropeway Point, Banjhakri Falls. Return to Hotel in the afternoon and have a personal time for Market visit in MG Marg area. (Car Not provided during market visit). Overnight at Gangtok.
DAY 3 : GANGTOK - TSOMGO LAKE WITH BABA MANDIR EXCURSION ( 52 km / 3 hrs - one way) (7:30 AM - 2:30PM)
After breakfast drive to Tsomgo Lake (Alt 12313 ft / 3753 M), a high altitude alpine lake close to Indo – China Border. Enjoy playing in snow and try Yak Ride and proceed further to Legendary Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir. Back to Hotel for late Lunch.
Optional tour to Nathula Pass (Alt 14450 ft / 4200 M) on China Border can also be arranged (Except Mondays, Tuesdays) for Indian Nationals only with 30 Days Advance Request at an additional cost. Afternoon is free for personal activities.
Overnight at Gangtok.
Note:
- In case of Land slide or any reason, Tsomgo Lake is closed we will provide alternate sightseeing at Gangtok.
- Nathula Pass visit will be on direct payment basis because it depends on availability of permit from army and subject to weather & Road Condition.
- Nathula is closed to visitors on Mondays & Tuesdays.
DAY 4 : GANGTOK - DARJEELING (110 km / 4 hrs)
Check out from the hotel of Gangtok and start your drive to Darjeeling (Alt 7100Ft / 2100 M). On arrival check in at Hotel. Free afternoon for personal activities. Overnight at Darjeeling.
DAY 5 : DARJEELING CITY TOUR
Early morning (4:00 AM) visit Tiger Hill (Subject to availability of Permit/Token). Drive back to hotel. After breakfast start at 9 AM visit Batasia Loop, Ghoom Monastery, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Japanese Temple, Ropeway (if operational, on a direct payment basis). Evening walk around to the Mall & Local Market (Closed on Thursday). Overnight at Darjeeling.
Note: Sightseeing is subject to time constraints
DAY 6 : DARJEELING - BAGDOGRA AIRPORT / NJP STATION (90 km / 3 hrs)
Check out from the hotel of Darjeeling and drive back to NJP railway station or Bagdogra airport for your onward journey.
